So you feel like it’s time to move, but you keep asking yourself, "Should I sell my house this year?” Americans still feel good about selling a house, even with the current health crisis that continues to challenge our nation. Here's why.
According to the latest survey of Home Purchase Sentiment Index from Fannie Mae, 57% of consumer respondents indicate now is a good time to buy a home, while 59% feel it’s a good time to sell one.
“The percentage of respondents who say it is a good time to sell a home remained the same at 59%, while the percentage who say it’s a bad time to sell decreased from 35% to 33%. As a result, the net share of those who say it is a good time to sell increased 2 percentage points month over month.”
So, many still believe that, despite everything going on in the world, it is still a good time to sell a house.

It's time to Spring Ahead! Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 2:00 A.M. On Saturday night, set your clocks forward one hour (i.e., losing one hour).

Rents in the United States have been skyrocketing since 2012. This has caused many renters to face a tremendous burden when juggling their housing expenses and the desire to save for a down payment at the same time. The recent stabilization of rental prices provides a great opportunity for renters to save more of their current income to put toward the purchase of a home.
As of January 2020, the average rent for an apartment in New Orleans, LA is $1309 which is a 22.77% decrease from last year when the average rent was $1607 , and a 3.82% increase from last month when the average rent was $1259.
One-bedroom apartments in New Orleans rent for $1071 a month on average (a 28.29% decrease from last year) and two-bedroom apartment rents average $1405 (a 36.09% decrease from last year).
